Coastguard begins work on re-floating the boat crashed into Mulah's reef
A harbor craft launch with the coastguard squad started work immediately after receiving information regarding the accident around 19:50 on Wednesday evening

Central Area Coastguard squad of Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) has begun working on re-floating 'Meanvilla' boat which crashed into the reef of M. Mulah during a trip from Male' to Laamu Gan. 

MDNF informed that a harbor craft launch with the coastguard squad started work immediately after receiving information regarding the accident around 19:50 on Wednesday evening.

While stating the boat crew and coastguard squad's efforts to re-float the boat, MNDF also confirmed the number of passengers on the boat during the time of the accident; 5 Maldivians and 3 foreigners. 

RaajjeMV has not received any information regarding injuries caused during the accident.
