The author of the book Soadiq gifted both the books to RaajjeMV at an event held at Suvadive Cafe' in Seenu Hithadhoo, Addu City. The books were received by the media station's senior video journalist Ahmed Muhsin.

While speaking at the event, Soadiq said that 'Handhaanaai Thaareehahtakaa Alfaalil Almarhoom Abdulla Afeef Didige Hayaaiypulhuge Therein' is a book based on late Abdulla Afeef Didi's life and includes photographs. He added that the book was written to provide information to the youth about Abdulla Afeef Didi's extraordinary life.

The author also said that 'Suvadive and Havaru Thinadhoo' provides insights on the history of Suvadive islands and focuses largely on Thinadhoo. Soadiq said that apart from information on the formation of Suvadive and Thinadhoo, the book also includes historical photographs of the locations.

At the event, Abdulla Soadiq also stated that he included 'Thinadhoo' in the title with the intention of providing indepth information on Thinadhoo as he believes the information available on the island currently to be insufficient.

'The book includes intricate details of how Suvadive was formed and the story of Thinadhoo', said Soadiq. He added that the books which took him two years to write are now available in Chandelier Bookshop in Male' and bookshops across Hithadhoo and Thinadhoo.
