New Radiant has won against Victory and Eagles gained a huge win in their match in STO Male’ League.
New Radiant won 3 – 1 against Victory on Friday after losing against Victory 1 - 2 in their previous match, which was the only loss for New Radiant so far in the league.
In the first half, the two teams showed equal skill with Victory showing excellent defense. However, in the 34th minute New Radiant got the lead with a goal from Mohamed Umair. New Radiant’s second goal was scored in the 44th minute by Ali Fasir (Sentey).
New Radiant Captain Ali Ashfaq scored the third goal in the 67th minute. Victory improved their game in the second half and scored a goal in the 87th minute.
On Saturday, Eagles won 6 – 1 against Valencia with forward Luiz Eduardo getting a hat-trick.
Hussain Raif got Eagles’ first score on the 9th minute and Ahmed Rizwan scored the second goal on the 26th minute and scored the third three minutes later. Eagles finished the first half with a 3 – 0 lead.
Luiz Eduardo scored the hat-trick for Eagles in the second round with goals in the 57th, 61st and 72nd minute. The only goal Valencia scored was four minutes before the end of the match.
In the scoreboard, New Radiant is in the lead with 22 points with Maaziya in third 16 points. Eagles is in third and Victory in the fourth.
