Ex-Police Commissioner Waheed transferred to Youth Ministry
Waheed was assigned as the Housing Minister after terminating his position as Commissioner of Police
Former State Minister for Housing Hussain Waheed
State Minister for Housing Ministry, former Police Commissioner Hussain Waheed has been transferred to the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Waheed was appointed as State Minister at the Housing Ministry back in 2015, after he was dismissed from his position as the Police Commissioner. His removal came amid accusations of corruption within the Police administration in 2015.
President's Office has confirmed Waheed's transfer to the Youth Ministry, but did not disclose a reason.
Former Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports
In addition to Waheed, Deputy State Minister for Youth and Sports Naif Shaukath has been transferred to Housing Ministry. Shaukath has been at the Youth Ministry since the beginning of the current administration.
