Yumna Maumoon, daughter of former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, is to be summoned to police over her alleged involvement in a conspiracy to overthrow the government.

RaajjeMV understands that she has is to be summoned on Monday at 4pm.

Her father, Maumoon, has been charged with terrorism for his alleged involvement in the conspiracy and has been remanded for the rest of his trial.

Yumna’s husband Mohamed Nadheem and brother MP Faris Maumoon are also in jail for the rest of their trials over the same case.
