Fenaka Corporation Limited (Fenaka) has on Monday introduced a new billing system, under an initiative to improve the quality of electricity services provided to the atolls.

Elections Commission's (EC) President Ahmed Shareef and Fenaka's Deputy Managing Director Mohamed Lam'aan inaugurated the new system at a ceremony held at SHE Building.  

Speaking at the ceremony, Shareef, who was the managing director of Fenaka until his appointment to EC in March this year, said that this is a huge success for Fenaka, and highlighted that the system will help in improving the quality of the services immensely. 

The software was developed by Shwack Maldives Private Limited. 

Fenaka's Lam'aan guaranteed that the new software will make book keeping more convenient and accurate.

The newly introduced software includes the head offices of all the branches in the same structure and electricity and water services can be provided under one system as well. Additionally, customers will have their own portals through which they can check their electricity and water bills and make the payments. Customers can also check other relevant information online. A mobile application is also included with the software.
