President Abdulla Yameen will be ousted and his administration ‘will see its end’ before the upcoming presidential elections, MP Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has said.
MP Solih, the leader of opposition Maldivian Democratic Party’s parliamentary group, said this during a rally held at Rasdhoo island in Alif Alif atoll.
The parliamentarian said that an environment conducive to free and fair elections will be impossible to achieve if President Yameen is left at the helm of government.
He told the Joint Opposition supporters at the rally to support the allied opposition parties’ single candidate and expressed his belief that the unity among them will remain strongly intact.
