MNDF confers commendation awards to their officers

The Maldives National Defence Force has conferred awards to their officers commending them for service.
The awards were conferred at a special event held at the Kalhuthukkalaa Koshi, the military headquarters in capital city city Malé, on Tuesday night.
The MNDF’s senior officials had spoken about the service of individuals units, their projects the past year, and projects planned for the future.
The military conferred awards to servicemen and servicewomen who have shown outstanding achievement, contributed to positive public perception of the military, and to those that have been involved in operations that increase relations with the public.
The military had also conferred certificates to officers that have shown great performance in various units and subunits.
Minister of Defence and National Security Adam Shareef was present at the event and had given out some of the awards himself.
