'Gaakoshi' and 'Wayside' sold out!
Application lines opened in January
105 flats were to be sold according to the announcement

'Gaakoshi' and 'Wayside' flats in Male' that were available for purchase in January, have been sold out as of now.

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) said that they will continue the purchase process with eligible applicants who have sent all the mandatory documents.

Out of the 264 flats built in Arabiyya and Gaakoshi, 105 were announced to be up for sale. However, the government halted the process despite the long queue of interested people. The government then announced to sell the flats online on 31st January. They were again open for sale for two million Rufiya since 10th April and anyone interested was given half an hour to clarify information.

It was former President Mohamed Nasheed's administration that first started selling TATA projects under social housing with the introduction of 'Veshifahi' project.
