An elderly man died in Laamu Gan while fishing with a group.
74-year-old Ahmed Zakariyya from Mathige, Mathimaradhoo, Gan died on Sunday morning while reef fishing.
Vice President of Gan Council, Ahmed Shaaheen informed RaajjeMV that Zakariyya fell down abruptly while fishing and was dead by the time he was taken to hospital.
Shaaheen also mentioned that Zakariyya was in good health and was enjoying coffee with his friends prior to fishing.
