Hithadhoo became the champions of the Addu Cup, after beating Feydhoo with a score of 5-2 against Feydhoo in the final match.
They were tied at 1-1 by the end of the first half.
Hithadhoo scored the first goal taking a lead in the final match which was played in Addu Football Stadium. The goal was scored by the team's foreign forward, David Osgiel at the 17th minute.
11 minutes later, Feydhoo evened out the score, with a goal from Mohamed Sayaan Saeed, jersey number 10 from Feydhoo team.
The match headed to penalties as both teams were tied 1-1 at the end of the 90th minute. Hithadhoo took the lead 4-1 in the penalties.
Maradhoo and Maradhoo-Feydhoo also took part in the tournament. After winning the champions title, Hithadhoo team will play against Dhoodigama in Zone Eight. Dhoodigama is the only team which took part from Gnaviyani atoll. The champions of this zone will be determined by comparing the aggregate of both the leagues.
National team's coach Petar Segrt delivered the champion's trophy to team Hithadhoo.
