Ministry of Environment and Energy has on Tuesday announced that they are looking to train tour guides who will operate in the bio reserves at the southern Fuvahmulah and Addu atolls.

The ministry said that their three-day program to train said tour guides is run under their Climate Change Adaption Project (CCAP).

The tour guides will be operating at the Eedhigali Kilhi and Kottey area, at the far end of Hithadhoo in Addu City. The area is at 570 hectares, and the freshwater lake there is the largest in the country.

As for Fuvahmulah, those trained under this particular program will operate at the Bandaara Kilhi and Dhadimagi Kilhi, two freshwater lakes.

The training program will be conducted from the 24^th to the 26^th of April in Addu City and from 30^th April to 2^nd May in Fuvahmulah. The ministry is giving preference to the first five individuals that apply for it.
