Ali Adam, the foreign ministry’s senior political director, has been appointed as the Islamic ministry’s deputy minister.
Before being appointed to the foreign ministry in January 21, he had been the consul at the Maldives consulate in India since 2014.
The foreign ministry’s senior political director is similar in rank to a deputy minister.
The President’s Office stated that he was transferred to the Islamic ministry on Sunday.
