Palestinian youths raise the Maldives flag in Gaza
The Maldives National flag was raised in Gaza during Friday’s protest against Israeli occupation called the “Great Return March.”
Facebook page “Friends of Palestine in Maldives” shared pictures of Palestinians holding the Maldives flag during the protest.
In a post, the Facebook page stated that the pictures show “ordinary Palestinians showing their appreciation to the people of Maldives which they know support Palestine due to their big contribution across the country during the last War on Gaza by apartheid Israel.”
Thousands of people have been rallying near the Gaza-Israel border for a series of protests calling for the rights of Palestinian refugees to return back to their land in Palestine.
Dozens of Palestinians have been killed and more injured by Isreali gunfire near the border.
