The Maldives Police Service’s stations and outlets across the country have held flag hositing ceremonies to mark their 85th anniversary.

Minister of Home Affairs Azleen Ahmed had been the chief guest at the ceremony held infront of the police headquarters, Shaheed Hussein Adam building, in capital city Malé.
Acting Commissioner of Police Abdulla Nawaz, senior officers of the police, and a number of other officers and administrative staff had participated in this ceremony.
The Maldives Police Service has seven divisions operating in the outlying islands.
