Foreign Minister Asim
Foreign Minister Mohamed Asim has departed to Kuwait as an envoy of President Abdulla Yameen.
Minister Asim is said to meet Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sabah Al Khaled Al Sabah, who is also the nation’s deputy prime minister.
They are to discuss bilateral relations between nations, and to deliberate on ‘strengthening the close friendly relations between Maldives and Kuwait’.
Minister Asim is accompanied by Secretary Bilateral Ahmed Khaleel, Kuwaiti Ambassador Abdullah Hameed Director at the Foreign Ministry Abdul Waris Saeed.
