Jailed opposition leader Sheikh Imran Abdulla has again been brought to capital city Malé for an appointment with a doctor.
Thursday’s appointment is a follow up check-up for the tests and scans that were done during Sheikh Imran’s appointment on Wednesday.
Imran’s lawyers have told RaajjeMV that they were informed of their client being brought to the capital city, although the reason for it had not been told.
Imran, who is said to have hyponatremia-related symptoms, was brought to Malé to see a doctor earlier this month as well.
While Imran’s doctors have advised him to have tests done and his family has made allegations of negligence against the state.
