A senior investigative officer, who was involved in former Defence Minister Mohamed Nazim’s weapons possession case, has been hospitalized.
RaajjeMV understands that the officer is being treated at the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital’s isolation unit, for a psychological disorder.
“Doctors say he has a mental disorder, he has gone three days and three nights without sleeping” a member of his family said, under the condition of anonymity.
The relative further told RaajjeMV that the doctors have had difficulty treating him, and his condition is severe without immediate signs of improvement.
Both the police and the hospital refused to provide a comment on the matter.
