The car driver involved in the fatal accident in Addu City has been given 15 days in police custody.

Mohamed Rashmu Riyaz (28) died on Saturday night on Link Road after colliding with the car.

Three people were in the car during the accident, and RaajjeTV understands that the driver, who was arrested on that same night, had been racing at high speeds.

RaajjeTV was unable to get a word from the police service.
