Six suspects have been arrested over the arson attacks in Addu City’s Hithadhoo a week ago.
Two houses in Hithadhoo’s southern area were torched on the night of February 11.
Police said those arrested include two minors, who have been given seven days in remand, while the four others were given 15 days.
RaajjeMV understands that the torched houses are S. Hithadhoo’s Dash and Dhonlafaru.
According to AdduLive, Dhonlafaru’s sitting room and kitchen have completely burned down, but no one was hurt in the fire.
A hut in Dash's yard was also torched in the arson attack.
