Hussain being led out of MPS headquarters

Doctors at ADK Hospital say that journalist Hussain Hassan had sustained several internal injuries and need to be under observation.

Hussain is presently seeking treatment in ADK Hospital and has been admitted.

RaajjeTV Chief Operating Officer Hussain Fiyaz Moosa reported that Police had said Hussain will not be arrested and expressed concern over attacks on journalists.

Hussain was detained while covering Friday's protests.

Other journalists at the scene also reported that Police officers had directly targeted journalists.
