Fresh summons was issued on Hussain Shameem, lawyer for former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom and Dhiggaru Constituency MP Ahmed Faris Maumoon.
Speaking to RaajjeMV after answering his summons for Thursday evening, Shameem said that new summons instructed him to submit himself at MPS headquarters on Friday at 2000 hrs.
Shameem is alleged to have given ‘false statements’ at a press conference on February 13.
In his interview Shameem highlighted that he was not informed of the nature or details of the allegations made against him.
