The parliamentarians previously said to have lost their seats, but were reinstated through a Supreme Court ruling, are still not receiving their monthly compensation and allowances.
MP Saudulla Hilmy, representative of the North-Thinadhoo constituency, said this while speaking at an opposition rally on Monday night.
While Saudulla said this, the parliament’s website, has yet to include their names in their database of lawmakers.
The parliament’s secretariat had previously said that the parliamentarians will be allowed to maintain their seats, although this was before the secretary-general resigned after more than a decade in service.
