Police officers enter former President Gayoom's home

Police officers entered the home of former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom on Monday night.

Gayoom earlier tweeted that a large number police officers had surrounded his house.

His daughter Yumna Maumoon later said on Twitter that officers of Special Operations (SO) ‘broke down the door’ and were arrested Gayoom and her husband.
