Will protest in the streets until Supreme Court ruling implemented: MP Mahloof
Mahloof said the court ruling was the result of the coalition’s nonstop work
He warned of a backlash against those who attempt to obstruct it
Supreme Court ruled to release several political leaders of the opposition

Members of the opposition coalition will keep protesting in the streets until the Supreme Court ruling to free jailed politicians is implemented, says MP Ahmed Mahloof.

At a gathering after the ruling was made, Mahloof said it was the result of the coalition’s nonstop work.

Noting that the ruling ordered relevant authorities to implement it immediately, he warned of a backlash against those who attempt to obstruct it.

The Supreme Court ruling to release jailed opposition leaders was aimed at the government, parliament, police, and military.

It ordered the Prosecutor General to take action against authorities that obstruct the implementation of the ruling.

The Supreme Court also nullified Election Commission (EC)’s ruling that 12 opposition lawmakers have lost their seats in parliament.
