Maduvvari Constituency MP Mohamed Ameeth says that jailed politicians are being kept hostage.
Speaking to RaajjeMV, MP Ameeth criticized Maldives Correctional Service (MCS), stating that the Service has to be responsible and will be held accountable if they fail to abide by the Supreme Corut verdict.
The Parliamentarian had also criticized Maldives Police Service (MPS).
Ameeth confirmed that several family members of the jailed political figures are in Male’ jail.
