Thinadhoo North Constituency MP Saudhullah Hilmy has denied that he was ‘awarded’ projects of the Government agencies and Ministries, in exchange for his support of the present administration.

Speaking in RaajjeTV’s Fala Surukhee program, MP Hilmy denied all reports to that nature, adding that he had never conducted his businesses in that manner.

He added that there were rumors that the bids by his company were at inflated prices and refuted this.

All six projects of Government agencies and Ministries by Swift Engineering, MP Himly’s company, were halted on the orders of the Government.

The Parliamentarian had called this an injustice, adding the value of all these projects amounted to around MVR 66 million.
