Criminal Court has scheduled a hearing of bribery charges raised against Dhiggaru Constituency MP Ahmed Faris Maumoon.

Hearing is set for 10 am for Wednesday. 

Last hearing of the case was held on the 25th of this month. In this hearing, the Judge had decreed that MP Faris must be set free. Later on he was arrested on another bribery charge and remanded for 15 days. 

The Judge in the next hearing will have to decide if the Court will proceed ahead with the case. All 23 pre-trial motions from MP Faris have been put to court and deliberated on.
