The Ministry of Education has launched a higher education exposition called “Education Malaysia Expo”.
The exposition is a joint effort between the government of Maldives and Malaysia and the education ministries of both nations.
Chief Operating Officer of the Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGs) Novie Bin Thajuddin said that it is part of a Memorandum of Understanding that was signed between the Maldives and Malaysia.
“We understand 1,300 Maldivians studying in Malaysia” Novie said, adding that similar expositions will be held in the future.
A total of 17 universities, both public and private, are represented at the exposition.
The two-day exposition was launched by state minister of education, Abdulla Naseer.
