Germany has updated its travel advisory for the Maldives, in light of the recent raids on resorts in Maldives, announces Ambassador of Germany to the Maldives, Joern Rohde.
In a tweet posted on Monday, the Ambassador said he was 'concerned about recent news about Maldives Police and Customs raids against several resort islands'. He also highlighted that news reports and resort representatives had indicated that 'tourists were inconvenienced'.
