Noomaraa students forced to go home to use toilet
Contractors hired last year have still not built the toilets
School's administrative officer says the toilets will be built within the month
School has neglected to give the grade-9 Islam textbooks to students

RaajjeMV has received information that students of Sh Noomaraa School have to go home or to the nearby mosque to use the toilet.

An island resident told RaajjeMV that the contractors hired last year have still not built the toilets.

The school’s administrative officer Mohamed Nizam said that the toilets will be built within the month.

The island resident also complained of the lack of textbooks, and said that the school administration has neglected to give the grade-9 Islam textbooks to the students.

Having to leave the school to use the toilet in between teaching sessions is affecting the students’ education, he added.
