Five suspects have been arrested over an alleged rape in R Dhuvaafaru.

While the victim is a 25-year-old woman, the police have not disclosed any details regarding the case.

RaajjeMV understands that a minor was one of the arrested.

Dhuvaafaru Council said they received report of the case on Thursday.

Sexual assault cases have been reported in the past few weeks, including an alleged rape involving a prominent individual, and a case of rape and blackmail of a minor in L Kalhaidhoo.
