Headquarters of Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA);
Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has announced that banking services will be closed on December 31.
In a public statement, the central bank said December 28 is the last day of the year in which banking services will remain open.
Banks close at the end of each year in order to conduct an audit.
