Former President Mohamed Nasheed is to be part of the Hugo Festival, organized by the Hugo Observatory, and is now in Brussels.
The Hugo Observatory is an environmental and migration research structure at Belgium’s University of Liège.
The festival will see a screening of ‘The Island President’, a documentary by filmmaker Jon Shenk on Nasheed’s efforts to fight climate change.
The Hugo Observatory is also to hold a reception for Nasheed on 21st November, where he will speak.
