President Abdullah Yameen’s claims of having provided the whole nation with round the clock electricity has drawn ire from Addu Meedhoo Constituency MP Rozaina Adam.
In a tweet posted, the Parliamentarian said at the time when Addu City was facing regular power cuts, President’s statements showed how disconnected he was from the plight of the general public.
Noting that Addu City had faced regular power cuts over the past three years, MP Rozaina had criticized the Government.
Earlier this month Addu City had faced power cuts. MP Rozaina had held a press conference to draw attention to the issue, adding that Fenaka, the state utilities corporation, must be free from political influence.
