RaajjeTV says the station will open a fund box, the ‘Aburufulhu’ fund box, in response to the MVR 500,000 fine imposed by the Maldives Broadcasting Commission (MBC).

The fund box will open at 1630hrs on Tuesday.

RaajjeTV News Director Husham Mohamed said interested parties from the atolls can call RaajjeTV’s 300.7771 for additional details. Husham added that donations to the fund can be made to the box placed in the premises and to a designated bank account.

RaajjeTV first opened a fund box back in April after a MVR 1 million fine was levied on the station, just hours after the station paid a fine of MVR 200,000.
