Youth murdered in Hulhumale’
Deceased is a 24-year-old
Haris Abdul Ghafoor (24) of Gold Leaf in Dhaandhoo island in Gaaf Alif Atoll
A youth has been stabbed to death in Hulhumale’.
Police and Hulhumale’ Hospital have confirmed the incident.
The Hospital reported that the deceased had stab wounds to eight places on his body. Additionally, the hospital reported that he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
RaajjeMV understands that the deceased is Haris Abdul Ghafoor (24) of Gold Leaf in Dhaandhoo island in Gaaf Alif Atoll. He is survived by a wife and a child.
RaajjeMV also understands that Haris had sought treatment at the Hulhumale’ halfway house for drug addiction. He was stabbed on route to the halfway house by two assailants on a motorcycle.
Eyewitnesses in Hulhumale’ reported that Haris was transported to the hospital in a pickup.
