Mohamed Hussain Shareef, Ambassador of the Maldives to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka
President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has appointed Mohamed Hussain Shareef as Ambassador of the Maldives to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
President Yameen presented the letter of appointment to the new Ambassador, at a ceremony held at the President’s Office this morning.
He was vetted by the Parliament for the spot in the Parliament sitting on August 23rd.
Ambassador Shareef previously served as Ambassador to Japan and as a Minister for this administration.
