Three Chinese naval ships arrive in Maldives
The ships will leave the country on the 31st of August
The MNDF said that local troops will engage in training programs along with sailors on board these ships
The ships, Chang Chun, Jing Zhou and Chao Hu, are currently harboured at the Malé City’s commercial harbor

Three Chinese naval ships have docked in Maldivian waters.

The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) said that the ships, Chang Chun, Jing Zhou and Chao Hu, are currently harboured at the Malé City’s commercial harbor.

They had reportedly left Beijing on April 23rd, and was dispatched by Chinese President Xi Jingpin to 23 countries.

The MNDF said that local troops will engage in training programs along with sailors on board these ships.

The sailors are to visit the military training center in Girifushi island, and some of MNDF’s area headquarters.

The ships will leave the country on the 31st of August.
