Mohamed Asi
Mohamed Asif, the head of the Health Center in Gaafu Alifu atoll’s Dhaandhoo island, has been removed from this position.
He was appointed by the President’s Office and was removed by the same on August 16th.
Asif said that the reason for his removal had not been specified in the letter informing him of it.
He is a staunch supporter of the ruling Progressive Party of Maldives and is seen on the frontlines of several of the party's events on the island.
The position of Senior Administrator at the Health Center is a political post.
