No compulsion to deliver a certain verdict in Faris case: Judge

Judge Ibrahim Ali says that there was no compulsion on him to deliver a certain verdict in the case made against Dhiggaru Constituency MP Ahmed Faris Maumoon.
Speaking in Court in the preliminary hearings of the case, the Judge said the case will be reviewed fairly and justly. He said there was no compulsion on him to deliver a certain verdict in the case and will review everything according to law.
This is the second time the Judge had made a similar statement, the first being in the trial held on July 17th.
In the previous trial, the Judge said that he will remain impartial and review the case to the best of his abilities. In that trial, he said that there was no compulsion on him to deliver a verdict.
The trial on MP Faris is to begin on October 8th.
