Maldives national volleyball team has lost their two matches in the 19^th Asian Senior Women’s Volleyball Championship.

The Championship is being played in Manila, Philippines.

In the first match against Thailand, Maldives was defeated by straight three sets; 25-5, 25-12 and 25-9.

In the second match Maldives faced Chinese Taipei. Chinese Taipei won the match by 25-9, 25-8 and 25-10.

Maldives will face Iran on Friday.

Iran, Chinese Taipei, Thailand and the Maldives are in the same group of the Championship.
