BML announces AGM for 23rd August
MVR 20 per share to be disbursed to shareholders

Bank of Maldives PLC has stated that the company will hold its annual general meeting on 23rd August.
Additional details of the AGM will be made public, the company said.
Of the total earnings for the company for the last financial year, BML said that they will disburse MVR 20 per share. This is to be passed in the AGM. In total, the company will disburse MVR 108 million in share earnings.
BML said this an increase of 18 percent compared to last year’s MVR 91.4 million share earnings. Last year BML disbursed MVR 17 per share.
Last year, BML earned a whopping MVR 1.02 billion in profits, an increase of 61 percent compared to the previous year. The earnings topped MVR 2 billion.
