President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has marked the completion of several infrastructure development projects initiated by his administration in Vaadhoo Island of Raa Atoll.

The celebrations were held on Tuesday, during his tour of the atoll.

The newly inaugurated projects are the new powerhouse, the Fenaka office and the extension building of the healthcare center of the island.

The inauguration of these projects marks a significant step forward in developing the island and its infrastructure.

The newly inaugurated powerhouse and Fenaka office represent a significant upgrade to the existing infrastructure of Vaadhoo Island.

Strategically located away from the residential area, the state-of-the-art facility minimizes disruption to the island's inhabitants while providing reliable and efficient energy to the local community.

With a power generation capacity of 800 kilowatts, the powerhouse is valuable to the island's infrastructure and will significantly benefit its residents.

The healthcare center extension building of Vaadhoo Island, constructed by KLAY LLP, includes a conference hall, administrative office, and general and medical stores.

These new facilities will significantly enhance the healthcare services available to the local community, providing them with improved access to medical care and support.
