President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has awarded the Order of the Dignified Rule of the Dhiyamigili Dynasty (ODRDD) to Dr. Mustafa Lutfi, Special Advisor on Social Policy at the President’s Office.

The award was presented at an official ceremony held on Wednesday at the Maldives Centre for Social Education (MCSE) in commemoration of the Maldives’ 58th anniversary of independence.

President Solih chose to honor Dr. Lutfi with the Order of the Dignified Rule of the Dhiyamigili Dynasty (ODRDD) in recognition of his high level of contributions to the nation and governments over a period of more than 34 years.

Dr. Lutfi’s invaluable contributions to the education sector of the Maldives was also acknowledged, including shaping the education system that the Maldives sees today and his numerous efforts to train teachers.

During the ceremony, President Solih acknowledged Dr. Lutfi’s significant contributions to the development of the Maldives, particularly his commendable and noteworthy work in improving the setbacks faced by the education situation in the islands.

The President also extended his sincere congratulations and best wishes to Dr. Lutfi on behalf of the state and the Maldivian people.
