Prosecutors and Jumhooree Party leader Qasim Ibrahim’s legal term have exchanged documents for three separate cases against him.
The three cases were filed on Wednesday, which include charges for bribery, obstruction of a public official’s duties, and vote buying.
The Criminal Court had earlier dismissed said charges following a hearing on Sunday night, which prosecutors had not attended.
Prosecutor General Aishath Bisham has said that her office had asked the court to dismiss the charges prior to this.
