Opposition leader Mohamed Nasheed calls for President Abdulla Yameen's impeachment

Former President Mohamed Nasheed has called for incumbent President Abdulla Yameen's impeachment, over the Supreme Court's proceedings over a constitutional matter on Monday.

The proceedings, where three judges are to adjudicate, are scheduled for 1:00 pm on Monday.

RaajjeMV has been informed that said proceedings are over whether or not parliamentarians who defect from the party that had elected them are to lose their seats.
