The second batch of the training program at the National Judicial Academy of India in Bhopal will leave on Saturday, said the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).

The training program at the National Judicial Academy of India is aimed at improving the capacity of the domestic judiciary to conduct necessary training programs and exchange knowledge and experience in the field.

This is the second training program under the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Judicial Service Commission and the National Judicial Institute of India in 2020, with the aim of facilitating joint research in the field.

The first training program saw the participation of 49 judges.

The JSC has met the with the judges taking part in the training. The meeting was attended by several officials of the Indian High Commission, Chief Justice Dr. Muthasim Adnan and officials of the JSC.

JSC states that 50 judges are participating in the training program.

Additionally, the commission highlights that the training will provide information on the judiciary, skills development of judges, court management, case management and ICT-based judicial processes.

The National Judicial Academy of India was established in 1993. In recent years, the academy has been training judges from India as well as neighboring countries. JSC states that these include countries like Bangladesh and Myanmar.
