The liveaboard association represents several liveaboard operators in the local tourism sector
Members of the Liveaboard Association of Maldives (LAM) has appointed its president and vice president to its 10th term.
Ibrahim Shahid was elected president while Ismail Hameed was elected vice president.
Members had also elected nine board members and a treasurer.
The liveaboard association, which represents several liveaboard operators in the local tourism sector – as well as working towards ensuring regulations are introduced by proposing them to the government – has over 150 members.
