President, First Lady exchanging Eid greetings
President Abdullah Yameen Abdul Gayoom and First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim has exchanged greetings with the public.
The event, a customary one following the Eid prayers, was held at Dharubaaruge from 9am to 10pm on Sunday.
Ministers, senior government officials, Parliamentarians, senior figures of political parties, State Ministers, Foreign Diplomats, senior heads of Government agencies and members of public attended the event.
The President also sent Eid greeting to heads of Islamic nations and the Muslim ummah. In his message, the President expressed his wishes for Almighty Allah to guide the Muslim Ummah on to the right path, accept our good deeds, and bestow blessings of lasting peace, solidarity and prosperity.
